Ms. Teething Aria

I’ve been seeing little signs that Aria is starting to teethe for about a week or two but its getting real! Ms. Teething Aria has been a little drool monster for about a week (is is weird that I think that her drooling is adorable?), on the one crazy day she would drink 2 oz. of milk every 1 to 1.5 hours, now she only does that a few times a day and always goes back to normal at night. But when she wakes up you would have thought she just woke up from the craziest nightmare (during the day and during the night)! So I try to be ready to feed her ahead of time.

I was a little worried about her eating so little during the day. I found that bringing a bottle of breast milk with us when I go to change her diaper is good because she is so focused on me when I change her diaper that sometimes she keeps on drinking to make the total for that feeding 3 to 4 ounces!

She loves her teething toys…and sometimes grabs the buckle on her highchair while I strap her in to chew on it, she also loves her index finger (I’m hoping she forgets her thumb all together haha). I’m going to try freezing half damp baby wash cloths so that she has something chewy, cold, and soothing to easily grip onto the mom frozen half and have at it since she’s always gripping by clothes and the burp cloth. My sister-in-law also suggested milk popsicles! Super fun and cute!

I’m definitely a little worn out. Always Yesterday I poured a little bit of orange juice in my cereal! Thank you Tropicana for making your jugs white haha…not tired mommy friendly. I just said oh well and poured some milk in; strawberry plus orange Honey Bunches — adds character 😛

The other day I almost put formula in the coffee maker instead of coffee grounds. I totally feel your pain! Hopefully your daugther’s teething won’t bug her too much. She looks like such a sweetheart!

Hahahahaha I love this!!! Baby brew! Haha. I caught myself sitting my phone in the fridge once too and told myself “really? What are you doing?” Lol. There was something else that I can’t think of right now but it was hilarious. Any who, she hasn’t grabbed her face much, I’ve seen her do it once. I’m thinking that would be a good indicator that it hurts a little, maybe it will be more of a molar thing.

Our daughters were born around the same time! Lol. Mine was born October 13. She’s teething just like your Aria. We bought her teething toys, as well. She doesn’t seem to be in any pain. We realized most of her fits were from being overly tired =/ It’s nice finding another mom experiencing similar milestones.

Oh my gosh I just learned about the overly tired thing too! Didn’t make sense to me at first but letting her sleep a lot during the day has made her going to bed at night so much easier! I just always wanted to play with her and talk to her and I wasn’t paying attention to her yawning so much and rubbing her eyes which lead to her being so cranky. I’m like whoa girl we were just having such a great time! Now she is OUT at 7pm by herself and eats on her sleep until 10am! She would sleep until 10am before but it would take me from 8pm to like 10 or 11 to get her to relax.

  3. Isla is the same!! I didn’t realise the waking up like she’s had a nightmare is teething related but glad to realise I’m not to only one with a distressed little bear!!
